SUMMER COURSES IN SPANISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN JACA (HUESCA)

 

1. SPANISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE COURSES FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

Two-week courses (50 hours of class)

II. From 16 to 27 August 2010

Month course (100 hours of class)

• Enrolment fees for the courses:
Two-week course: € 285
Month course:€ 465

• The number of places is limited.

• The enrolment fee includes tuition, material used in the classes and Attendance Certificate, which will be awarded to students who have regularly attended classes.

• Before the start of each course, students will be tested to determine their level (from beginner to advanced level).

• The language elements covered on the course are:

- Spanish grammar
- Language use
- Writing practice
- Conversation practice
- Tutorials
- Workshops on particular topics

All teachers in charge of these subjects have specific training in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a wide range of experience in various universities and schools.

• For advanced levels, these classes will be complemented by lectures by leading specialists in different areas of Spanish culture:

- Art (with tours to the various monuments in the city of Jaca)
- Modern and contemporary Spanish literature
- Contemporary Spanish history
- Spanish society
- Geography of Spain
- Spanish life and customs

• Students may obtain a Diploma of Competence in the Spanish Language (Diploma de Suficiencia en Lengua Española) awarded by the University of Zaragoza. Exam fees (17 euros) are not included in the registration fee.

• Fremdsprachenzertifikatssystem UNIcert®: Students taking these courses who meet the specifications set out by the AKS (Arbeitskreis der Sprachenzentren, Sprachlehrinstitute und Fremdspracheninstitute) will be able to take the UNIcert® Stufe I and UNIcert® Stufe II exams in Jaca. UNIcert® recognition in cooperation with the Sprachenzentrum of the Technische Universität Carolo-Wilhelmina zu Braunschweig (Germany).
