The enrolment fees to be paid by
students in credit-based programmes is calculated by
multiplying the number of credits in which they enrol
by the price per credit, which is based on whether and
to the extent the degree programme is classed as a laboratory
or experimental programme.
Payment of enrolment fees entitles students to sit for
two exam sessions in each of the subjects or courses
in which they are enrolled.
To familiarise you with a series of basic concepts,
the following definitions are provided:
Minimum enrolment:
The Decree concerning fees will establish a minimum
fee for enrolment. This fee will be applied when
the cost of the subjects or credits in which a student
is enrolled is lower than the minimum fee. The minimum
fee will not be applied if a student enrols in all
of the subjects or credits pending in order to finish
his studies and the total amount does not exceed
the minimum. The minimum fee shall be applied to
all enrolment periods: September/October and the
extension of enrolment in February.
Classification of programmes based on their
laboratory or experimental component:
The different degree programmes are classified
in different categories based on the laboratory
or experimental component in accordance with their
requirement for practical teaching. In that regard
each of the categories carries a different fee per
credit or subject.
Subjects without a teaching component:
For these subjects students will pay 30% of the
normal fee established in the Decree on Fees for
each credit or course.
Payment for elective credits:
Credits corresponding to elective
courses will be paid based on the fees schedule established
for the degree programme to which the course belongs,
independently of the degree that the student in question
is seeking. In the case of subjects or activities
created especially as electives by the University
of Zaragoza at the request of its departments, the
fees corresponding to experimental level 1 of the
department teaching that subject will be applied.
The fees for courses offered by the G9 Group of Universities
will likewise be those corresponding to experimental
level 1.
