Students who meet all of the requirements set
forth in the general regulations and who choose
to continue in a programme that is being discontinued
should take into account:
* That according to current legislation, these
programmes of study will be phased out year
by year, and the subjects therein will no longer
be taught. Once a year’s course has been
discontinued, there will be four exam sittings
during the next two academic years. Nevertheless,
in cases in which it is justified, the University
may make an exception, increasing the number
of exam sessions from four to six, to be taken
over the next three academic years. If students
exhaust the six exam sessions, those who wish
to continue their studies must do so in one
of the new programmes by adapting or, if warranted,
validating their prior studies at the University
of Zaragoza’s discretion.
* The fees for courses without the right to
attend classes will legally be those set forth
in the Decree on Fees. Enrolment in courses
without the right to attend classes enables
students to take exams during the official exam
sessions, but not to attend either lecture or
practice classes.
* Since courses without the right to attend
class do not have assigned professors, the examination
and evaluation of students in these classes
will be based on the criteria established by
the department in charge of the course.
