Students with Disabilities
Article 31 of Law 13/1982 of April
7th on the social integration of disabled persons provides
that “disabled persons enrolled in university
courses whose disability prevents them from adapting
to the generally-established system of exam sessions
may request, and academic institutions shall grant,
an extension of the number of sessions to compensate
for their difficulties. Without prejudice to the level
required, examinations shall be adapted, if warranted,
to the characteristics of the disability of the person
in question”.
